Washington Court Docket is a private reference, not a court clerk's office or a government service. It cannot retrieve case files, change a hearing, or issue a certified copy. Official Washington case information is held by the court that heard the matter and the clerk for that court. The state Case Search index can help locate a case, while county court offices handle the full local docket and case documents. Use the routes below to choose between the statewide search, court information, and the directory for local record custodians.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This is an independent reference site, not part of Washington Courts or any government body. It cannot fetch a docket, move a court date, alter or seal an entry, provide a certified copy, or advise anyone on the law. Those requests must go to the clerk or court that holds the record.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

For a Washington case or court matter, direct each request to the source that maintains that record:

  • A statewide case lookup: use Washington Courts Case Search to look for a case by name or number, or read the case lookup steps before searching
  • How court levels fit together: the Washington court system page describes which court keeps each type of docket
  • A court date or setting: check the court dates resources, then confirm a local setting with the court or clerk listed through the county directory
  • A complete docket sheet: the local court keeps the full register; find its clerk and records route in the county directory
  • A certified copy: request it from the clerk responsible for the case file, using the county directory to identify the local court

Washington Courts Case Search is a statewide locator, not a complete docket or document repository. The originating court and its clerk maintain the full case file and issue certified copies. The county directory points to the relevant local court system.
